On Tuesday 9th May, 2023, the Municipal Chief Executive of Ahanta West Municipal Assembly, Hon. John Agyare commissioned 3-Unit Classroom Block and a newly renovated 3-Unit Classroom Block at St. Francis of Asisi Catholic School, AgonaFie and Ahuntumano respectively.
In his address at both ceremonies, he urged the various school authorities to exercise an excellent maintenance culture to keep these projects in their best of shapes for a longer period of usage.
These projects were awarded to a contractor in October 2022, with a 4-month lead time which was thoroughly achieved.

Mr Daniel Kanyage, Mr. Frank Gyapong (Municipal Engineer), Mr. Buadi Aloysius (Dep’t Dir. Supervision and Monitoring-GES), Georgina Akyeampong (PRO, GES), Daniel Payne (Basic Schools Coordinator-GES) NPP Constituency Chairman Nketsiah Kwofie and other NPP executives, Hon. Stephen K. Arthur (Assembly Member for Ahuntumano), Hon. Raymond Peter Kwofie (Assembly Member for AgonaFie), Mr. Sampson Appiah (Headmaster, Ahuntumano D/A Primary School), Mad. Agartha Rachael Amoah (Headmistress, Agona Catholic School ‘A’), Mr. Daniel Oppong (Headmaster, Agona Catholic School ‘B’), Rev. Fr. Dodoo and Mr. Frank Awortwe Mensah (Fmr. Headmaster, Agona Catholic School ‘A’).
