The Municipal Chief Executive and Municipal Coordinating Director of Ahanta West Municipal Assembly on Friday 9th June 2023, took part in the celebration of the GREEN DAY. As part of the celebration, ONE THOUSAND (1,000) Mahogany timber trees was received from Department of Parks and Garden.
Twenty (20) each Mahogany timber trees was also distributed to Fifteen (15) 1st and 2nd cycle Educational Institutions, Ten (10) Individuals including a foreigner, Five (5) Religious Organizations as well as Seven (7) Assembly staff also benefited from the distribution within the Municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive Hon. John Agyare and Municipal Coordinating Director Mr. Daniel Kanyage and some representatives from Department of Education initiated the planting exercise.
