INAUGURATION OF GENERAL ASSEMBLY
The Ahanta West Municipal Assembly Inaugurated its general Assembly on Tuesday, 23 January, 2020. The programme was graced by Traditional Leaders, Opinion Leaders and Various Key Stakeholders. the programme was chaired by the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Ahantaman Rural Bank Ltd.
The President was represented by Mr. Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry. He urged all stakeholders to work in unity and champion the development of the Municipality.
SANKOR SHS EXCELS
Sankor Senior High School participated in a competition organized for fifteen (15) Business Schools in Western Region and placed 3RD which is very impressive considering the limitations the School possesses.
MANAGEMENT MEETING
The Ahanta West Municipal Assembly undertakes its first Management Meeting for the Year, 2020.
The meeting is to help management of the Municipality take review its activities for the previous year and plan for the year, 2020.

AHANTA WEST MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY UNDERTAKES MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL
Hon. Henrietta Mary Eyison (Municipal Chief Executive) together with Management Staffs and Municipal Education Directorate undertook my first day at school exercise at some selected schools in the Municipality. The beneficiary pupils were given refreshments, learning materials (Books, Pencils, etc.) and footwares as well.
INAUGURATION AND HANDING OVER OF K.G BLOCK TO AHUNTUMANO COMMUNITY
Hon. Henrietta Mary Eyison (Municipal Chief Executive) of The Ahanta Municipal Assembly together with Management of the Assembly Handed over a completely furnished Kindergarten block to the Ghana Education Service and the People of Ahuntumano. This August Occasion which was held on the 17th of September, 2018 was well attended by all stakeholders.

Ahanta West District Assembly holds Public Hearing on the Draft District Medium-Term Development Plan (2018-2021)
The Ahanta West District Assembly held a one-day public hearing on the draft MEDIUM-TERM DEVELOPMENT PLAN (MTDP 2018-2021) on the 7th Day of December, 2017.
The well attended programme by various stakeholders in the District was held at the DistricAssembly’s hall.
Giving her welcome address the Hon. District Chief Executive urged all participants to give their all to help develop a plan that is reflective on the needs of the various groups which they are representing.
She also urged all to make the MTDP theirs and participate in its implantation.
The programme was a great success as participants were happy and content with the plan since it addressed most of the developmental issues in the district. MTDP (2018-2021).
