The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) and the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in the Ahanta West Municipality embarked on an educational tour on 17th February,2026 with some selected schools in Agona Nkwanta.
The NCCE Director Mrs. Faustina Koranteng and the team encouraged the students to strictly adhere to the safety protocols that were taught by the fire officers. The officers on duty took time to carefully explain, one after the other, the various tools and equipment used by the Ghana National Fire Service in their operations.
The students were highly excited about the trip and expressed great interest in the practical demonstrations and lessons on fire safety. The tour was both educative and inspiring, helping to build awareness on safety and emergency preparedness among the young learners. Below were pictures of the visit:
