{"id":189,"date":"2016-03-13T22:55:00","date_gmt":"2016-03-13T22:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/ahantawest\/?page_id=189"},"modified":"2024-02-07T22:00:38","modified_gmt":"2024-02-07T22:00:38","slug":"physical-planning","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ahantawest.gov.gh\/index.php\/physical-planning\/","title":{"rendered":"Physical Planning"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"tbk__title kl-font-alt fs-l fw-bold tcolor\">MAJOR ACTIVITIES<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Advice the Assembly on national policies regarding physical planning, land use and development, planning and management of physical development and growth of human settlements in the country.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Co-ordinate activities and projects of departments and other agencies including NGOs to comply with planning standards.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Assist in preparation of Physical Plans as a guide for the formulation of development policies, decisions and design projects in the district.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Assist to identify problems concerning the development of the Assembly (land, social, environmental and economic) .<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Facilitate and participate in research into planning the Assembly.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Advise on setting out approved plans for future development of land.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Undertake street naming, numbering of houses and related issues.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Assist to offer professional advice to aggrieved persons on appeals and petitions on decisions made on their building.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Advise on the acquisition of landed property in the public interest<br \/>\nPreparation of spatial and land use plans.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Monitoring settlement growth and controlling development to ensure that human settlements function as healthy places for residence, work, and recreation.<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Facilitating the processing of development and building permits<\/li>\n<li class=\"tbk__subtitle fs-s fw-thin\">Provision of general land use planning and urban development advice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MAJOR ACTIVITIES Advice the Assembly on national policies regarding physical planning, land use and development, planning and management of physical development and growth of human settlements in the country.
